Since I've worked almost every weekend since I was 14, I forgot what it was like to actually look forward to them! Now, I work Friday mornings from 9 - 3, then I have the rest of Friday off, I have ALL DAY Saturday off, and I don't have to work until 5 PM on Sundays! I almost feel like a normal person, it's fantastic!!!

A few Saturdays ago we went to a corn maze. I've always wanted to go to a corn maze. We planned on going at night, and we waited until a week when it was going to be a full moon. It was awesome! The corn was really tall and REALLY dense. It was dark and quiet and creepy and we didn't see, or even hear anyone else until the very end when we crossed paths with a group of people. It reminded me of Tri-wizard Tournament hedge maze the end of the 4th Harry Potter movie. It was sweet! Definitly one more thing to look forward to doing every fall from now on.

Also, check out these pumpkins we carved!

This one was mine:

And this one is Steve's:

…the neat thing is…they’re fake!

They look just like real pumpkins, and they are close to the same price as real pumpkins, and you can use the same carving saws and carve them just like real pumpkins! The only difference is they aren’t filled with gross goo and they will last forever!

The weather has so nice and fall-y lately. I can't believe it's already November.

Check out how sweet this is!!!

Steve is really, REALLY good at researching how to mod video game systems.

This is our Wii home menu:

Then, if you click on that channel in the upper left, you get this:

That is a cover flow display of all of the Wii games we have copied to an external USB hard drive that is attached to the Wii. We currently have about 75, but we are working on adding as many as we can possibly get our hands on. All you have to do is pop in a disk and hit a button, and in about 15 minutes the game is copied. Then, you hit another button, and it automatically downloads the box art. That's it. Or you can always download the Wii game roms on the computer and transfer them if one prefers to take that route. It's amazing how easy Nintendo makes it for you to steal their shit! No tools or mod chips required. Thanks for that SD card slot and USB port nintendo!

Oh, and as far as WiiWare goes, we downloaded those too. All of them.

They found the bastards who stole our car!
Between 8 - 10 cars were stolen from my works parking lot in the last 6 months, the most recent belonging to my boss. Her car was missing for about 2 weeks before it was recovered.
I was talking to the detective today and he said that they had an undercover operation going for the last few weeks and they were able to positively ID some people who were running a car theft ring responible for over 50 stolen vehicles.
So that's pretty awesome.

Speaking of awesome, we watched the first and second seasons of Dexter.
They were great. I can't wait for the new season to start. I read the manga series Deathnote this summer, and loved that also. The 2 are very similar.

The porn on Showtime is pretty good...but only because it has a good plot.
Seriously.
It stars the guy from the Extenze commercials.
Also seriously.

I wish it starred Michael C Hall.

There are ad banners and crap all over my LJ. When did that happen? I don't like it.

I've never watched the show Dexter, but we have been watching Showtime alot lately and I keep seeing commercials for it. The guy on it is attractive, and I REALLY like the music they play during the commercial for the new season. Is it wrong that those things are enough to make me want to start watching it?

I wish there weren't such big gaps between olympics. I had fun watching them this summer.

I'm glad summer's over. I'm ready for Hallo'weekends and cider mills!

Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii !!!

The Nintendo Wii is awesome.
We've only played Wii Sports so far, but the motion sensor controller is sooo much fun to play with...baseball and boxing are the best.
It's really neat because both the remote and the nunchuck controllers are motion sensor.

And the best part is that I was once again able to purchase a video game system with bottle cap currency.

It only cost 667 Coke caps!

AND we've still got enough caps saved up for a PS3 (as soon as our name comes up on the waiting list) and some games and accessories.

I'm never paying cash for another video game as long as I live.

Ummmm...I haven't written in here in so long, I'm not sure what to say.

Cedar Point a few weeks ago was awesome. It was the least crowded I have ever seen it.
Ever.
And I went 12 times last summer.
The longest we waited was for the Dragster and the line was only 45 minutes. The Millenium Force was a half hour. Everything else was 15 minutes. It was amazing. It was a beautiful day...no chance of rain but not too hot. I guess it pays to go before all the kids are out of school.
Steve and I took the French chick with us.
I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure she hated it.
I thought the new ride, The Skyhawk, looked kinda lame...yeah, it's terrifying.
I can't wait to go back.

Playing softball last week was also tons of fun. I hope we can do it again soon.

And bowling.
Ben is the most hilarious thing I have ever seen.

And miniature golf.

And a waterpark of some sort.

And horseback riding!

Damnit!
I wish I worked less. There is sooo much stuff I wanna do this summer...I'm afraid I'm going to wake up one morning and it's going to be the end of August and I'm going to feel I have accomplished nothing. That tends to happen alot.

Oooh!
I played a DS Lite today.
IT'S PHENOMENAL!!!

Also, Brain Age is fun.
Break 'Em All is not.

My hair is exactly down to my butt crack.
I really should cut it.

Ummm...what else?

Oh! I have a car again!
This time, I'll try to be better at not smashing into things.
But it's fast...and I like it.
I should begin saving now for the speeding tickets I'm sure I'll be getting soon.

Speaking of smashing into things, I have a bump on the side of my head and I don't know how it got there.

Man...for not having much to say, this got really long, really fast.
I shall end it now.

**EDIT**

Don't call or text message me. My phone is broke. Again.
If you see me carrying it around, that's because I use it for the clock.
My watch is also broke.

That is all.

2 different words.
2 different pronunciations.
2 different meanings.

So, earlier this evening I was doing dishes and I had my cell phone sitting on the window sill above the sink. (I bet you can see where this is headed...) Anyways, I walked away for a second and the phone rang...well, vibrated. Naturally, my little, retarded kitten saw it start moving and promptly jumped on the window sill and knocked it into a sink full of hot, soapy water.

Needless to say, my phone is toast.
Since I had been having trouble with my phone anyways, I called T-Mobile to send me a replacement.
Sooo, if you need to talk to me in the next 7 - 10 days, catch me on AIM or send me an e-mail.

Which of the following is more broke ass?

A) My "car stereo"...which is really nothing more than a little CD/boom box that plugs into an outlet, powered my cigarette lighter.

OR

B) My sorry excuse for a computer. The screen on my laptop is broken, so I had to hook a regular computer monitor to it.

I sure do miss my Steve :-(

Edmonton is killing my soul.

I need to get some new contacts. These glasses are hurting my ears and I'm sick of having to clean them all the time.
Not to mention that I look hideous in them.

I'm 22 years old. You would think that by now I'd be able to use markers or pens without getting ink all over my hands.

Crap. I was supposed to go back to work for an hour or so after I got out of school but I forgot.
Oh well.

Where can I get some sea monkeys?!

Myspace killed Live Journal. And I don't have much to say anymore.
I should delete this thing.

I need to watch less Vh1.
